Banner Stand Designs – The Do’s and the Don’ts
Because banners are such an important part of marketing, their design should be given special consideration. An attractive banner will definitely grab more attention than a dull one. Discussed below are a few points to be noted about banner stand designs.
The most central part of your banner stand design should be its structure. It should be strong enough to support the banner it is meant for. The hooks and clasps should all be well-made; some banners are heavy and require good support. Flimsy banner stands get easily knocked over by strong winds and people.
The material that the stand is made from also contributes to the design. Some banner stands are made from wood, plastic and fiberglass, but aluminum is the most commonly used material. They can be painted to match the color of the banner. Colors should not contrast too much as this can be distracting. Apart from the aesthetic aspects of the banner stand design, it also needs to be functional. The size of the stand should fit the banner. If the stand is too big or too small for the banner, it gives an unprofessional appearance.
Your banner stand should not interfere with the banner itself in terms of design. The content and graphics of the banner should be emphasized without disturbance. It should go with the theme of the banner or be neutral. Good stand design does not require excessive expenditure. You should make sure it is sturdy and serves your purpose.
