Introduction to Portable Banner Stands
Most banner stands are portable. This feature enables the users to move them around and also travel with them comfortably. Tradeshows and exhibitions are common examples where banner stands are most widely used. These events usually take place for a few days and company executives from all over travel to take part in them. This makes having a portable banner stand important.
There are several different types of portable banner stands. Retractable, X and telescopic stands are the most popular ones. Retractable banner stands are very easy to set up. The banner automatically retracts back into the aluminum pole making it is easy to dismantle.
X banner stands have three legs and an X shaped frame. They have hooks for attaching the graphics. Two of the rods go on top, and the bottom of the X is spread out on the floor.
Telescopic banner stands can hold the largest graphics. They come in as many as 6 different pieces, which are assembled on site. The banners can be attached to this stand with S hooks or by forming a large pocket from top to bottom through which a pole can pass.
However different their mechanism might be, all these stands are portable. An important feature of a portable banner stand is its weight. If these stands are compact but heavy, the purpose will not be served. As such, most of them are very light. The stands come with bags, which make them convenient to carry along wherever you go.
