The Different Types and Materials of Pop-Up Displays

Pop-up displays are possibly the most commonly used displays at trade shows. Not only do they advertise your product effectively, but they are also practical and cost-effective purchases. Setting up a pop-up display involves a simple ‘pop-up’ action and takes just a few seconds. There are different types of pop-up exhibits available, giving you the flexibility to choose an appropriate display based on your budget, advertising needs and floor space.

Standard pop-up exhibits are portable and extremely lightweight. They consist of an aluminum frame, Velcro fabric panels and steel/PVC/aluminum crossbars. Such a display system generally comes with a wheeled case that can be converted into a podium. Photo mural pop-up exhibits consist of photo mural graphics in place of Velcro panels. The graphics in this case are striking and have a higher visual impact. The printing techniques used for the graphics include LaserJet printing and Durst Lambda. Commercial pop-up exhibits are a little heavier but more durable than the standard variety. Available as curved and straight designs, they consist of steel channel bars and Velcro panels.

Fabric mural pop-up exhibits consist of graphics printed on replaceable fabric attached to the frame. These displays are very light and simple to assemble. A 3-D pop-up display is available in a variety of shapes, including triangular, square and trapezoidal. They offer a unique look and stand out from the crowd. Because of their high visual impact, such displays tend to be slightly costlier purchases compared to standard pop-up displays.
