Tips on Using Fabric Displays for the Best Effect

Today, a fabric display is no longer just a piece of cloth with a design printed on it. Advancing technology has made it possible to create stunning fabric displays that have ‘animated’ pictures, such as with Philips Electronics’ ‘furry television’ displays. The way businesses use versatile fabric display options has also transformed over the years. At many trade shows you would have seen models sporting clothing that are actually fabric displays. These are LED displays that light up to reveal the outline of a logo or design. Today, there are innumerable applications for these display options.

If you are planning on using your newest fabric displays at your next trade show, it is important to do your homework first. Ask your display provider to tell and preferably show you how exactly it needs to be set up. Some fabric displays go up on frames, pillow style. Others have buttons or Velcro fastenings to affix them to a base. Some others may be designed to fit over uniquely shaped stands.

Practice setting up the complete display well before you actually need to do it at your trade show. You may find that some of the places just don’t fit the way they are supposed to or some fastenings are missing. The trail run will let you rectify these problems in advance so that you are confident of setting up the perfect fabric displays on trade show day.
