Tradeshow Graphics Using Fabric Displays
Using graphics and colorful designs on fabric displays can significantly increase the number of visitors to your trade show booth. Graphics can play a vital role in making your tradeshow booth eye-catching, and should be chosen in such a way that they represent your company’s logo or brand image positively. There are a number of ways to use graphics creatively on durable fabrics, avoiding the problems of traditional printing methods.
Graphic on fabrics can be printed in two ways – Dye Sublimation Process or Direct Printing. In dye sublimation process, graphics on the fabric are imprinted through the process of heat transfer, which makes the images and designs look more realistic. Although using this process for trade show graphics is better than using an inkjet printer, dye sublimation process is possible only with polyester fabrics.
Direct printing, on the other hand, can get you better quality graphics as compared to the dye sublimation process. Graphics are usually printed on fabrics like cotton and silk using a steam process, which gives the designed fabric a smoother and elegant appearance.
While graphics can also be printed on vinyl, the benefits of using fabric graphics are far greater. Fabric displays are easier to transport and can be reused many number of times if properly maintained. Unlike vinyl, displays that can end up with substrate cracking when used repeatedly, the wrinkles on the fabric can be removed easily by ironing. Also, you can use fabrics of different textures, shapes and sizes, to display various moods and tones for creating the perfect ambience in your booth.
